Zoomorama at South by Southwest Festival 2009 !

Zoomorama will be at South by Southwest, demoing in front of a panel of industry stars in the "Accelerator" competition. Out of 20 finalists there are only 2 European companies, and we are the only one from France.

We are hard at work to design a revolutionary new way of showing art on-line. Thanks to Bridgeman Education, the largest archive of high resolution images of art, we will show 300 images from three of the most transformative figures in European art: Gaugin, Cezanne, and Van Gogh. For the first time ever you will be able to enjoy the full resolution details of each painting, and easily compare among them without losing context. The ease of navigation will make it a breeze to browse through so much content. It would have never be that pleasant with HTML (click to open, back, click to open, back, etc.....).

Thanks also to Adobe, our technology partner, for great support and a wonderful development platform. The new Action Script 3 really delivers the goods, and Flash 10 is wonderful (especially for text rendering). We are building powerful tools with Adobe Flash.

ZOOMORAMA Wins Prestigious Japan Government Invitation

Zoomorama was selected by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) as one of only 30 international start-ups to be invited to attend the prestigious CEATEC technology exhibition.

CEATEC (Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies) is Asia's largest annual technology and electronic exhibition.  The event also serves as key industry networking and information gathering opportunity. In 2007 CEATEC attracted nearly 200,000 visitors, with some 895 exhibitors. See CEATEC web site Here.

This confirms Zoomorama's position as a worldwide leader in web based visualization technology.

Zoomorama on French Business Radio (BFM)

Zoomorama was featured on the prestigious BFM radio show "l'Atelier Numérique" which goes live every weekend. It's a two hour show about the latest trends in technology and tech business.

Zoomorama raises €1M

We are happy to confirm that we finalized a new fundraising of €1M. The financing was provided by European and American business angels.

We are going to further develop the ease of use and versatility of our ZoomCreator application, create new BtoC products, and expand our server footprint with presence in the US, Vietnam, Japan, Russia, and Brazil.

SFR SpeedStarting Up Presentation

Presentation this afternoon in front of 200 managers of SFR at their invitation only SpeedStartingUp event.  SFR is the second largest mobile operator in France. They are also fast becoming an important player in high-speed internet with their recent purchase of Neuf Telecom.

I will show how ZoomCreator is a fun remplacement for Powerpoint for presentations, but with easy video and viewing of details. And, of course, you can later upload your presentation.

I will also show how you can create widgets with SFR products that can be deployed anywhere.
