Luxury Goods Catalog

We get a lot of questions about e-commerce, and especially e-catalogs. We believe that Zooming will finally make the e-commerce experience more "natural". When you enter a store you are not greeted by a lot of text and some hidden walls, are you ? No, everything is in view for you to choose, no texts (maybe some small prices), and only when you are sort of decided do you get more details. We think this is the way it should be, this is what we are going to do.

Here you can get a taste of how luxury goods appear in a Zooming catalog. You get so much definition that you can almost "touch" the watches - it's the "sensual" interface. Thanks to CHANEL for lending us some images of last year's collection. CHANEL is on the forefront of technology for watch making, and it blends with style to make a beautiful product. They are wonderful and we love them. Thanks !

Embedding Zoomomails

This is a test of the upcoming embedding function for Zoomomails. In gracious agreement of our friend Carolina for letting me use her beautiful portraits (more on Flickr for the fans). Thanks Carolina.

Zoomorama is finalist for the LeWeb3 Startup competition

Zoomorama will presenting in front of a prestigious panel of technologist at the LeWeb3 conference taking place in Paris on Dec 11-12. We were selected among 120 entries, that was narrowed to 30 finalists.

Of course we hope to win, but already we are flattered to be selected among the finalists. Congratulations to the team in France and Vietnam for a great job moving the Zooming technology forward.

I take this opportunity to announce that next week we will release a major upgrade to Zoomomail, with individual accounts, incremental upload of Zoomomail corrections, and page to page navigation. It will also reflect many of the request we received, as well as improved performance on lower end computers. Thank you for all your wonderful feedback and help making Zoomomail a success.

Old Family Photos to share

A very touching Zoomomail we received this week, direct from our friend in Canada who shared with us family photos from his childhood in Vietnam.

It is a beautiful album full of gentle emotions that we can all relate to. It also shows us a Vietnam that is long gone. Thank you Hao for sharing this with us.
